Clear training schedules reduce confusion for families
Timely, accurate information is part of the academy experience.
Keep one schedule source
Specify branch, age group, coach, venue and time in each listing or message. Assign who approves changes and how the new version reaches families and coaches. Do not leave an old timetable public on one channel while correcting another.
Plan for exceptions
Explain what happens if a pitch changes, a session is cancelled or an event conflicts. Say whether a make-up session exists and how families will know. Read the message as a guardian with more than one child: can they identify what applies to them quickly?
A practical example
When one group’s session changes, put branch, group and new date in the message heading. Update the place families consult for the current schedule too. “The time has changed” without details may create more enquiries than it resolves.
- Name branch and group in each message
- Assign one change owner
- Explain cancelled-session procedure
