What do verification and accreditation badges mean in an academy directory?
A directory listing, verified ownership and official accreditation are different claims.
Read each label separately
Public information may appear before an owner updates it. A platform verification badge should mean the listing operator’s identity has been checked under the platform process; it is not a guarantee of training quality or outcomes. A Saudi Football Federation accreditation badge should appear only with current independent evidence.
Verify the details that matter
Ask the academy directly about programmes, fees, schedules and policies. Check source and update dates where available. If a listing is wrong, use its correction or contact route; do not base enrolment solely on a badge.
A practical example
A listing can carry an owner-verification badge yet omit seasonal fees; the badge does not fill that gap. Ask about cost. Another listing may mention historic accreditation without a current date; check the competent source before treating it as current.
- Separate listing from verification
- Check accreditation at its source
- Confirm details with the branch
General educational guidance, not a child assessment, endorsement of a particular academy or promise of an outcome. Confirm current details directly with the relevant organisation and seek qualified help for health, legal or child-safety matters.
